Hannah Walker has begun making a dream a reality.

After over 20 years in the jewellery business, she has succumbed to the delights of working outside in the fresh air.

Whether the rain is blowing horizontally or the sun is shining, Hannah can be found outside,

bent over the soil watching eagerly to see how the plants are growing.

A change in family circumstances meant that a new avenue emerged for Hannah.

In may ways, the transition from the bright lights of London's Bond Street, to gardening couldn't be more different.

However, in jewellery, the tiniest of details are often crucial, and as a result, Hannah has an meticulous eye for minutiae.

This helps with noticing the differences between plants, identifying their plant family,

which in turn helps to grow them in the best location in which they will thrive.

Her impressive plant knowledge allows Hannah to design and create gardens which suit their conditions.

Every location, no matter how challenging has a selection of plants which will thrive ther

Having spent a total of 6 years studying design and applied art at both Edinburgh College of Art

and the Royal College of Art during the late 1990's, her design sensibilities are honed to perfection.

The design skills she accumulated whilst working in the jewellery business transfer easily across to horticulture.

What's less easy however, is the changeability of plants.

"It's like painting with colours which are always changing.

Planning a scheme means considering the final height of the plant

as well as the colour combinations and textures, but ensuring it looks good early in the season as well as later on."

Hannah is here to hold your hand and help you create the garden of your dreams.
